“My original goal was weight loss. I wanted nothing more than to lose a layer of “fluff”, but as I invested more time into Wolf Den Fitness, I quite literally became obsessed with all things health and fitness. My goal was no longer just weight loss, but to also build back a healthy relationship with food and my body image. Initially I was hesitant for fear of failure. I’ve tried several fad diets in the past, none of which I was able to achieve my goals which lead me to believe “that my body just can’t lose weight.”
With Wolf Den I really learned to prioritize what worked best for me while focusing on consistency and moderation, making realistic lifestyle changes.
I never felt restricted or missed social events but I MADE SURE I was making the time to nail all of my workouts. I stopped just passively going through the motions of each exercise and really started utilizing mind-muscle connection.
Wolf Den not only set me up for success before I even got started on Day 1 but they also educated and pushed me along the way. Meagan and Ally as well as the other members from Wolf Den were my biggest “up girls”, and this was the type of motivation and accountability I absolutely needed.

“I have gained a lifestyle that I believe is sustainable long term, and I have gained a love for health, wellness, and nutrition that I never could have expected.
I can’t thank the Wolf Den Fitness family enough for getting me here, and am looking forward to continuing my journey with them!”
“My initial goal was very weight based: I wanted to lose weight and measure this by getting to a number on the scale that I associated with the last time I felt really good about my body. With Meagan’s support and guidance, I was able to achieve this goal, and even set a second one! Although these two goals were very much scale based, I have now been able to shift my mindset to a place where I am much more driven by feeling good and building muscle than by a number on the scale! My current goal is to build lean muscle and see definition that I have never seen before, even at my leanest, because I have never fueled my body properly until now to achieve that physique!
When I started this program, I was VERY busy teaching full time and starting coursework for a graduate program. I was worried that I wouldn’t have time to work out enough, which was compounded by a very all or nothing mentality. The old me felt like if I couldn’t workout 5-6 days a week for 2+ hours each session (what I thought worked for me in the past) then I shouldn’t bother because I wouldn’t see results. Meagan has helped me by tailoring a program where I only have to be in the gym 3 days a week, for no more than 45-60mins a session which works SO much better with my hectic schedule.
Another limitation that was holding me back initially was the fact that I had been battling a chronic lower back injury for almost a year prior. Meagan was so understanding of this, and assured me that she would be able to program a workout schedule for me that was conscious of this injury. She was also always available to talk if I was struggling with a particular movement, and made adjustments immediately as needed. This program, along with lots of conservative care, has helped me strengthen the muscles around my back and alleviate a lot of the pain I was experiencing previously! I can’t believe how far I have come with this injury, and appreciate all of Meagan’s support and understanding.
Nutrition has been the #1 shift for me, and the biggest component of this program that I prioritized! I have SO appreciated Meagan’s guidance and support with my macros, and have learned so much about how to fuel my body and balance these things in a way that is best suited to me. I really don’t feel like I could have ever done this on my own, and this program has actually inspired me to get my nutrition coaching certification to learn even more and eventually support others with their own nutrition journey (stay tuned for that haha).
I also prioritized daily movement. Although I wasn’t able to work out as much as I would have liked due to my busy schedule, Meagan encouraged me to track my step count and to move my body daily regardless of being able to get into the gym. I am currently walking/running daily, and making conscious decisions in my everyday life that allow me to be as active as possible even outside of the gym!
As of right now I have lost 38lbs, which is amazing, but I have gained SO much more that I think greatly outweighs the weight! I have gained knowledge and understanding of how to use food as a tool to fuel my body. I have regained functional movement, and the ability to move without pain. I have gained a lifestyle that I believe is sustainable long term, and I have gained a love for health, wellness, and nutrition that I never could have expected. I can’t thank the Wolf Den Fitness family enough for getting me here, and am looking forward to continuing my journey with them! This program has changed my life in so many amazing ways, and I am excited to say that the best is still to come!!”

“My goal was to really understand macronutrients that worked for my body and the proper way to eat. I wanted to have a 180 degree transformation within the year. I relearned that food is your friend – not the enemy and that it can be used to really build optimal health. I learned how to maintain a happy, healthy, balanced lifestyle that didn’t involve giving up delicious food or cutting out booze completely. I didn’t want to enter the social scene feeling guilty about not maintaining a strict ‘diet’.
What was really important to me was learning how to not put the weight back on or give up when things got hard. I really learned to lean on my coach for support when needed – you are truly not alone in this journey with Wolf Den.
My initial hesitation was that I was starting a new job and was worried I wouldn’t have the time to balance that with working out but I found that receiving a new plan each month really had my body craving the exercise.
Having the weekly accountability check-ins and knowing I could log or write whatever I needed to for that week and would get a helpful response to reset the focus for the next week was a game changer.
I have achieved a completely different mindset. I know that consuming healthy fats isn’t bad and how important it is to consume the right amount especially for females to help with hormones. Not only my mental strength but physical strength has improved and my body has reset and regulated itself all thanks to the help of Wolf Den.
I have lost 25lbs and have kept it off for a year with minimal fluctuations. The support system not only from the coaches but the other members of the group for ideas and food substitutions really has me telling everyone how amazing this program is!”

“My goal when starting with Wolf Den was originally weight loss and toning. I lost myself in motherhood and needed help finding who I was again and wanted to do it in a healthier way than circling back to eating disorders and illness to get the weight I wanted. After I started, I realized that yes, seeing the weight drop was great but falling in love with the process and progressing into each new stage of my transformation was what I was really looking for the whole time. Finding something I love while learning to love myself again. Wolf Den really was my saving grace.
When Meagan and I had first spoke, she mentioned a reverse diet but I was terrified to eat MORE food. Coming in eating 800-1000 calories per day, I thought if I ate more, I’d gain weight. I was terrified to trust the process because I’ve done many other diets, fads and tried a few other programs that all ended in the same unsustainable lifestyle which therefore lead to failure.
I’m a busy mom, full time nurse with a long commute and have a husband who works away from home for sometimes weeks at a time – where was I going to find the time?? But I wanted it bad enough, so I did. You pushed me and to me to trust you, it paid off and I’m so glad I did.
With Wolf Den I’ve achieved happiness. I’ve achieved self love. I’ve achieved a love for food again. I’ve achieved balance. I can be healthy and see incredible results but I can also have treats and snacks worked into my day so I don’t feel like bingeing followed by a day of starving. I’ve learned to listen to my body if it needs a break and to feed myself when I’m hungry. I’ve learned SO much and I continue to learn more every week. You are so informative in your check in feedback. I’ve learned so much about macros and menstrual cycles and hormones that help me understand my body and changes. Having such a supportive team/coach who doesn’t judge you and understands life happens, has definitely helped in my transformation!! You guys are the literal best. Thank you for everything this far.”

“My goal when joining Wolf Den was to lose 10-15 pounds. Although my diets have never been great, I used to love to strength train before suffering a serious concussion. Exercise then started to trigger migraines for me that prevented me from continuing to workout which lead to weight gain. Initially, I had a lot of hesitations that stemmed from the “all or nothing” mindset that I’d had for years. If I can’t train the way I used to, what’s the point in prioritizing my nutrition.
Wolf Den helped me understand nutrition, and ditch that “all or nothing” mindset and held me accountable. I modified the workouts and made my main priority nutrition.
More recently I have been able to start slowly introducing and following Wolf Dens workout plans without severe PCS symptoms, which is also a HUGE step for me. I’m really learning to do what I can and what works for me. Meagan has continuously been that support I’ve needed, and has helped me in more ways than I can explain.
Overall, I am SO happy I bit the bullet and messaged Meagan one night to join the pack. I’ve learned so much that I will never forget. Investing in this program is so worth it.. you take what you’ve learned with you at the end of it and that knowledge is with you for life! Anyone else who’s feeling hesitant – my advice for you is to just do it!”

“My goal was to lose weight and get toned while building a healthier relationship with food.
At first I was hesitant because I have tried to lose weight before but never had a plan that was sustainable long term. Past plans have been quick weight loss with quick weight gain after as well. I really found that meal prepping and planning a day of meals out really helped me stay on track. I gained knowledge of macros and how different types of food affect macros. Wolf Den taught me how to prioritize my meals while working and having other priorities come up. I have achieved a better understanding of the types of weight training and cardio I should be doing to maximize the benefits of working out and not spending hours doing it. I have gained more confidence and am getting a better body image when I see my body transform through losing weight and getting toned.”

My Story
From party girl and fast food addict to restrictive eating and over exercising to finally getting educated on how to be healthy and happy from the inside out.
Hi 🙋🏼♀️ My name is Meagan and I am the owner and Head Coach at Wolf Den Fitness Studio.
However, I once was the poster child for disorderly eating and it’s been through my discovery of health and fitness that I am so passionate about helping others heal their relationship with food and learn to fuel and move their body in a healthy AND ENJOYABLE way.
So let’s back up a minute and I’ll walk you through all that it took to bring me to where I am now.
Between diet culture and all the conflicting messages in the fitness industry, I had a decade long struggle with food and exercise.
In 2009 I found my love for the working out
through personal trainers and performance coaches with my hockey team.
What started out as a positive thing quickly turned to obsession.
By 2010 I was jumping on the elliptical after every meal.
In 2011 I would spend hours alone in my room doing circuit after circuit of core exercises, lunges, squats and wall sits.
In 2012 I went to University, stopped playing organized sports, started drinking too much, and became SERIOUSLY addicted to fast food.
Cue rapid weight gain here.
In 2013 I moved out and started cooking for myself. By cooking I mean granola bars and tuna melts between trips to McDonald’s. Then over Christmas break my car window froze shut until spring. I wouldn’t get out of the car to walk into McDonalds so I started losing weight. And it felt good. Soon I wasn’t eating and barely weighed 100lbs.
In 2014 I finally started caring more about being strong than about being skinny except to me that meant rows of bland chicken breast and spending 2 hrs in the gym every day. This restrictive eating then lead to serious binge eating and hours on a stairclimber.
This cycle repeated itself until as recently as June 2020 when I FINALLY started to figure it out.
Stop with the extremes and stop being driven by negativity to achieve your goals.
Start doing simple things that you ENJOY then build onto those little habits over time.
Create SOME routine and structure so you can enjoy freedom and flexibility.
I come from a long history of exercise obsession, alcohol abuse, smoking and other appetite suppressants, fast food addiction, starving myself and binge eating.
I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO FEEL COMPLETELY STUCK.
Today I am educated in sports and nutrition, I am happier than ever, I am vital, I am empowered, I feel confident, I have an amazing relationship with food and I exercise to feel good.
I am devoted to helping you feel the same!

Coach Ally’s Story
You’re likely here because you’re sick and tired of your own excuses and getting in your own way. You’re tired of being uncomfortable, tired of spinning your wheels jumping from program to program with no results, and you’re definitely tired of making excuses. You need a change and you need it now. Lucky for you, this is the last program you’ll ever need!
Guess what? I haven’t always had it all figured out either. Buckle up for a short novel on my health and fitness journey over the years which has brought me to where I am now. My goal is to educate you and help you see the bigger picture when it comes to health, wellness, fitness, nutrition and mindset.
My name is Ally and I have always been athletic, playing tons of sports growing up and never missing an opportunity to be active. My fitness levels were always above average. I started working out when I was 18, but basically attended spin classes a few times a week and used the strength machines at the gym with no program or plan. I did this consistently for about 5 years because I didn’t really know any better. Then I started getting on social media more, where bodybuilding started to interest me. So I focused more on bodybuilding style workouts (still with no plan or program – just basically copying exercises from the athletes I looked up to). I also did way too much cardio on the treadmill and stairmaster at the end of every workout and would never eat more than 2,000 calories a day even though I was working out for 2 hours a day (it was just a magic number that I had in my head – *eye roll*). I also lugged my meals around with me everywhere and would never stray from my strict diet of fish, chicken, rice, sweet potatoes, green veggies, nuts and a small handful of other foods (*even bigger eye roll here*). This went on for another 5ish years. I also thought more exercise was better….more strength training, more cardio, less rest, less sleep, and only “clean foods” would help me hit my goals. Guess what, my physique never really changed that much and my mindset and habits weren’t any better.
Fast forward to 2017. I competed in my first fitness competition, and although I built some great habits and focused entirely on myself for 5 months, it was one of the loneliest times in my life. My relationship with food suffered during prep and after the competition. I completely depleted my body, had severe hormonal issues that I am actually finally getting to the bottom of, and no matter what I did, I could not lose the weight I had gained back over the year after my competition. I was still in good shape physically, but internally in my body and brain, A LOT was going on. It wasn’t until December of 2018 when I got pregnant (still not sure how with all of the hormonal issues I was experiencing and a basically non-existent menstrual cycle), that I really started to change my attitude about fitness and nutrition, and ultimately my mindset. I scaled back cardio to walking and a little bit of HIIT (with the OKAY from my doctor) and I focused more on my strength/resistance training, but scaled back the intensity as needed due to being pregnant. I was sleeping better, I was eating MORE, I was working out LESS, I was less stressed…and the list of positives goes on.
Our daughter was born 6 weeks early, in August of 2019 and that was the BIGGEST AND BEST turning point for me. I know, it sounds stressful to have a premature baby, so how could it be the turning point for me? Now don’t get me wrong, it was extremely stressful, tiring and emotionally draining, but it changed me for the better. I started walking within a couple days of my daughter being born and started resistance training 5 weeks postpartum (with the okay from my doctor). I decided to adopt a flexible approach to my nutrition where no foods were off limits. I told myself that this time, my fitness and nutrition was a no stress approach. I had always followed macros, but was extremely strict with my approach and this time, I was not going back to that. I also programmed my strength/resistance training and cardio to fit my goals of getting stronger and achieving the best level of cardiovascular fitness I could, without spending hours on cardio per week. I had ZERO aesthetic goals. I just wanted to feel my best and heal my body from the inside out. I was naturally eating more due to breastfeeding, strength/resistance training for 45-60 minutes 5 times per week and going on walks with my daughter. That’s it…and GUESS WHAT? I started to get into the best shape of my entire life and my mindset had also done a total 180! My metabolism started to love me and everything started looking up.
Fast forward to 2022. 2019-2022 have been my best years with fitness, nutrition, mindset and personal growth. I have truly become the best version of myself in so many ways. I make great nutrient dense choices 80% of the time and I can actually say I love it because I have that flexibility the other 20% of the time. No more carrying around my meals in containers, no more saying no to pizza, no more skipping on foods I love. I am training 5 times a week and only using cardio as a tool (and my resting heart rate is now in the high 40’s). I have more time for other things and more energy to do them. I am sleeping better, I am reading more, I am continuously learning, I am taking courses and I am investing in myself in the best ways possible. I have changed my mindset, I’ve developed some of the most amazing habits and I truly believe I am in the best spot I’ve ever been both mentally and physically. I am also in the best shape aesthetically in my entire life, while not making my body suffer internally. It is possible to EAT MORE, EAT WHAT YOU ENJOY AND SCALE BACK YOUR EXERCISE AND/OR CARDIO and see the best results ever. It is possible to let go of years of bad habits and self sabotage.
I’ve been through a lot of rough patches. I’ve tried things over and over. I’ve been at my worst and I’ve definitely been 100% frustrated. BUT it is possible to become the best version of yourself, even with years behind you of not doing things the optimal way. You’ve come to the right place. We truly care about YOU! If you put 100% trust in us as your coaches, we promise you will become the best version of you. We are so thrilled that you are investing in yourself because at the end of the day, YOU ARE YOUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. You can’t be the best mom, wife, friend, daughter, co-worker, etc if you aren’t taking care of YOU first.
Looking SO forward to being a part of your journey,
Coach Ally
